MINSK, 9 December (BelTA) – The Board of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB) has decided to terminate the provisional administration of OAO Belgazprombank. The decision is stipulated by the board's resolution No.392 of 9 December 2020, the central bank's press service told BelTA.
10 December 2020 is the last day the provisional administration will be in charge of OAO Belgazprombank.
Provisional administration was introduced by the central bank on 15 June 2020 for a period of six months in order to ensure the stable operation of OAO Belgazprombank, its continued provision of banking services, to ensure that the bank honors its obligations to depositors and creditors.
The decision to terminate the provisional administration was made once the specified goals were reached and the Board of Directors of OAO Belgazprombank chose new members of the Management Board.
