MINSK, 17 February (BelTA) - The central bank has postponed the decision on the refinancing rate, BelTA learned from the information and public relations department of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB).
"The Board of the National Bank postponed the decision on the refinancing rate and the interest rates on liquidity operations. In view of the need to undertake an additional analysis into the projected consumer price growth and exposure to the key factors that accelerated the consumer price growth, the Board decided to consider the monetary policy at a meeting on 12 March 2021," the National Bank said.
The refinancing rate currently stands at 7.75%.
