Belarus, Azerbaijan to establish joint veterinary medicines production

MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) – A joint Belarus-Azerbaijan facility to produce veterinary medicines will be set up in Azerbaijan, which will allow entering new markets in the region, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.

Director General of BelVitunifarm enterprise Ilya Darovskikh and Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Institute Ali Nabiyev signed a confidentiality agreement and a cooperation agreement between the two organizations in Baku.

The signing of these strategic documents is the result of the agreements between the presidents of Belarus and Azerbaijan to establish joint veterinary medicines production. According to the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry, in addition to commercial benefits for both parties, the production of veterinary medicines in Azerbaijan will make it possible to tap new promising markets.
