MINSK, 4 October (BelTA) – Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) Mikhail Myatlikov met with Director of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of Azerbaijan (AZPROMO) Yusif Abdullayev who arrived in Belarus as part of Azerbaijan's government delegation on 4 October, BelTA learned from the BelCCI press service.
During the meeting the heads of partner business organizations discussed areas for further effective cooperation, including within the framework of memorandums signed by AZPROMO, the BelCCI and its unitary enterprises. The parties also discussed plans to hold mutual visits of business delegations, joint forums, and to attend international exhibition events in Belarus and Azerbaijan.
The meeting also focused on practical assistance in the development of mutual trade. The BelCCI emphasized that it is necessary to hold events on matters of the greatest interest forthe private sector such as the development of logistics chains and financial settlements, with speakers and participants getting invited specifically for this purpose.
Yusif Abdullayev introduced the project of launching Istisu mineral water production. The water was presented at the Azerbaijan Trade House on 4 October. There are plans to supply this water to retail chains of Belarus in the near future. The opening of the plant for Istisu mineral water production took place literally a few weeks ago.
