MINSK, 7 December (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Yuri Senko has paid a visit to Shandong Province, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Beijing.
The diplomat visited the region's major enterprises, including Weichai (engine production), Shantui Construction (road-building machinery), Shandong Lingong (mining machinery), Shandong Hualing (cable products), and Zhongheng (cross-border e-commerce) and held talks with the management of the companies.
The parties discussed the current state of cooperation with the Republic of Belarus, and also promising areas of cooperation with Belarusian partners.
The ambassador suggested considering the implementation of joint projects in Belarus and China. The Chinese partners were also shown the investment opportunities of the Chinese-Belarusian industrial park Great Stone.
The head of the diplomatic mission visited the Belarusian trade pavilion in the Greenland Jinan International Trade Center, which is scheduled to officially open in April 2022. A presentation of Vitebsk Oblast products was organized for the business community of Shandong Province in the Belarusian pavilion.
