
MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kazakhstan Aleksei Bogdanov and members of the delegation from Kazakhstan met with Belarusian Agriculture and Food Minister Yuri Gorlov during the Belarusian agro-industrial week in Minsk, the Belarusian Embassy in Kazakhstan told BelTA.
The Kazakhstan delegation included officials from the Department of Agro-Food Markets and Processing of Agricultural Products of Kazakhstan’s Agriculture Ministry, a researcher from Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University, and enterprise leaders.
The meeting focused on expanding bilateral cooperation in the agro-industrial sector, implementing Belarusian technologies and equipment to construct dairy farms, increasing supplies of Belarusian food products to Kazakhstan, and establishing joint agricultural faculties for specialist training.
The parties discussed the first Belarus-Kazakhstan agricultural forum, which will be held within the KazAgro/KazFarm specialized exhibitions in Astana in October 2025.
The Kazakh delegation continues its work at the Belagro-2025 exhibition and is set to hold several meetings and negotiations.
