PUKHOVICHI DISTRICT, 27 July (BelTA) - Belarus plans to export agricultural products worth $100 million to China in 2018, Belarus' Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Rusy told the media, BelTA has learned.
“Last year we exported $17 million worth of agricultural products to China. We believe that this is not enough as the market is very big. We aim for $100 million in agricultural exports to the People's Republic of China in 2018,” Mikhail Rusy noted.
This year Veles-Meat company and Mogilev Meat Packing Plant have sent first shipments of beef cuts to China. The export of dairy products has been on the rise. Chinese certificates have been awarded to such Belarusian poultry factories as Agrokombinat Dzerzhinsky, Vitebsk Poultry Factory, Druzhba Poultry Factory, Servolux, and OAO Smolevichi Broiler.
