Belarus adjusts export prices for some meat, dairy products

MINSK, 16 August (BelTA) – Belarus’ Agriculture and Food Ministry passed Resolution No. 86 on 13 August to set minimum prices for some products sold under foreign trade contracts. The document was officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal, BelTA has learned.

The list of goods sold under foreign trade contracts, which is attached to the resolution, includes nine items.

The lowest prices have been set for fresh, chilled or frozen carcasses and half-carcasses of cattle (young and adult cattle), milk and cream, condensed, with sugar or other sweeteners, in powder, granules or in other solid forms, including dry dairy products, with a fat content of not more than 1.5% and more than 1.5%.

The lowest prices have also been set for butter of various fat content, low-fat and fat-free cheeses for processing, fat content of 45% and below, fat content above 45%.

Prices have been set separately for deliveries to Russia, other EAEU countries, CIS states (except for the EAEU countries) and Georgia, and also for countries outside the CIS (except Georgia).

The document voids Resolution No. 82 of the Agriculture and Food Ministry of 6 August 2024 "On setting lowest prices" and comes into force on 16 August.
