Belagro expo to welcome more official delegations in 2025

MINSK, 27 May (BelTA) - Nine more countries than last year have announced their intention to participate in the international specialized exhibition Belagro at the level of official delegations. The AgroSCO exposition will be a large-scale event this year, BelTA learned from the press service of the Agriculture and Food Ministry.

Representatives of 21 friendly countries will take part in Belagro 2025 at the level of official delegations, which is nine countries more than last year. These are Azerbaijan, Botswana, Venezuela, Ghana, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Qatar, Kenya, Colombia, Cuba, Mozambique, Mongolia, Togo, Uzbekistan, Iran, Pakistan, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China and Tajikistan.

Delegations from 16 regions of Russia will take part as well. These are the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Republic of Tatarstan, Altai, Primorye, Krasnodar and Krasnoyarsk Territories, Amur Oblast, Belgorod Oblast, Lipetsk Oblast, Novosibirsk Oblast, Penza Oblast, Pskov Oblast, Oryol Oblast, Sakhalin Oblast, Smolensk Oblast and Tula Oblast. A total of 12 Russian regions will feature their exhibition stands.

For the first time, eight member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization have applied to participate in the AgroSCO exposition. Among them are Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, China and Iran.

The business program will make up a big part of the exhibition. Dozens of thematic conferences and seminars will provide ample opportunities to discuss a wide range of issues to ensure the competitiveness of agricultural products and the development of pedigree livestock breeding and agricultural engineering. Attention will be paid to the prospects of cooperation of Belarus with neighboring and non-CIS countries in the production of innovative technologies for agriculture.

The exhibition program will be traditionally filled with demonstrations, presentations, workshops and contests. Forums, conferences, round tables and seminars will also make part of the program. There will be daily events for specialists at the expositions Belfarm and Fisherman's Village. Belagro 2025 will also feature tastings and a huge number of creative and cultural events.

The international specialized exhibition Belagro has been setting the tone in the agro-industrial world for 35 years. This year it will be held at a new venue, the Minsk International Exhibition Center, on 3-7 June. According to the organizers, this year's exhibition will be the largest one in its history. A total of 515 companies from 14 countries have applied for participation. Among them are Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Germany, Italy, China, Iran, Türkiye, Vietnam, Palestine and Pakistan. The program includes forums, round tables, workshops, contests, demonstrations and presentations. Cultural and entertainment events will be held almost non-stop throughout the exhibition days. The participants are preparing their expositions to make the program interesting for both adult and young visitors.
