MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) – At least 4.4 million square meters of housing is to be built In Belarus in 2024 using all sources of financing, including 1.4 million square meters of subsidized housing, BelTA learned from the press service of the Architecture and Construction Ministry.
“Significant attention will be paid to social infrastructure. There are plans to build 20 kindergartens, 12 schools, 12 fitness and recreation centers, 2 swimming pools, 18 healthcare facilities in the regions. Financing will be provided for 150 water deferrization stations and 16 treatment plants,” the press service said.
Road repairs will also remain in the focus. Almost 4,500 km of roads and seven bridges will be renovated. “This is designed to enhance the comfort of everyday life of Belarusians,” the ministry emphasized.
