Ambassador describes Belarus-Kazakhstan relations as 'strategic partnership'

MINSK, 18 February (BelTA) – Belarus and Kazakhstan have a high level of relations, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Belarus Timur Zhaksylykov told journalists following his meeting with Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Igor Sergeyenko, BelTA reports.

“We have a high level of relations. They can rightfully be described as relations of strategic partnership and friendship,” Timur Zhaksylykov said.

According to him, interaction between Belarus and Kazakhstan is gaining momentum across the entire spectrum: including politics, trade and economy, culture and humanitarian matters. “I am confident that our relations will continue to develop in the same way in the future,” the ambassador noted.

“We are implementing a number of large investment projects in the industrial field. There are 14 of them today. They include the assembly of BELARUS tractors. There are projects to assemble BelAZ vehicles, projects in the field of elevator engineering,  combine harvesters and many more,” added Timur Zhaksylykov.
