MINSK, 30 June (BelTA) - Belarus is prepared to offer Kenya comprehensive solutions to ensure food security, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kenya Dmitry Krasovsky told the media, BelTA has learned.
“Kenya is a promising region for us. We currently have a solid starting position. Our relations at the highest level are excellent, but there has been no further progress. We need to give this cooperation new impetus," the diplomat emphasized.
He noted that trade between Belarus and Kenya has shown unstable growth, and this situation needs to be addressed. “We have made good progress in recent years, but haven’t yet reached the record high levels of trade that we saw before COVID. This is why boosting exports will be a top priority,” the ambassador said.
Belarus can offer Kenya not just food supplies, but comprehensive solutions for food security “ranging from agricultural machinery to educational services”, according to Ambassador Dmitry Krasovsky.
