MINSK, 10 July (BelTA) – Some 698,000 tonnes of grain has been threshed in Belarus, the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry told BelTA.
As of 10 July, early cereals and leguminous crops (excluding corn, buckwheat, and millet) were harvested from 204,300 hectares, which is 10% of the target area; 698,000 tonnes of grain has been threshed, with the average yield at 34.2 centners per hectare.
Flax was pulled from 6,100 hectares, which is 13.5% of the area under this crop.
