Almost 440 companies registered at Belarus' FEZs

MINSK, 14 February (BelTA) – A total of 439 entities are registered as resident companies of six free economic zones of the Republic of Belarus, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.

According to the National Statistical Committee, in 2024 free economic zones accounted for 5.3% of Belarus' gross domestic product, 19.2% of industrial output, 3.8% of investment in fixed assets, and 21.9% of exports of goods.

Most FEZ resident companies are engaged in the manufacturing sector (86.4%), followed by trade (4%). In total, in 2024, the average salary of FEZ employees was more than Br2,400. They employed more than 136,000 people.
