MINSK, 22 February (BelTA) - Trade in goods and services between Belarus and Russia reached a record high in 2024, Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Alesya Abramenko said during a meeting of the inter-agency working group of the Belarusian Economy Ministry and the Russian Economic Development Ministry, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Economy Ministry.
According to Alesya Abramenko, Belarus-Russia trade and economic cooperation continues to strengthen. “In 2024, mutual trade in goods and services reached a record high of $57.6 billion with a growth rate of 7.4%. Russian investment in Belarus amounted to $4.9 billion. Direct investments on a net basis grew by 10% year-on-year,” she said.
The meeting with the participation of the Russian regions also discussed topical issues of Russia-Belarus interaction.
