25 haul trucks worth $33m shipped by Belarusian BelAZ to Russia’s Novosibirsk Oblast in 2023

MINSK, 23 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian haul truck manufacturer BelAZ shipped 25 heavy dump trucks worth over $33 million to Russia’s Novosibirsk Oblast in 2023, BelTA learned from Stanislav Bondarenko, Deputy Director of the BelAZ Marketing Center, Head of the CIS Commercial Operations Office, as a delegation of Novosibirsk Oblast led by Governor Andrei Travnikov visited BelAZ on 23 May.

Stanislav Bondarenko said: “BelAZ’s cooperation with Novosibirsk Oblast enterprises is strategic, mutually beneficial and has been going on for a long time. We buy components and we sell vehicles. In 2023 Novosibirsk Oblast bought 25 heavy haul trucks worth over $33 million. We bought roughly the same worth of equipment from Novosibirsk Oblast enterprises. This is why this cooperation is obviously mutually beneficial.”

BelAZ is now working on long-term deliveries of a batch of haul trucks with the carrying capacity of 130 tonnes and a large tow truck with the carrying capacity of 220 tonnes to Novosibirsk Oblast. The shipments were initially scheduled for early 2025.

The public joint-stock company (OAO) BelAZ is the managing company of the holding company BelAZ. BelAZ is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of haul trucks and transport equipment for the mining industry and the civil engineering industry.
