The decree provides for vesting the National Center for Electronic
Services with the functions of an operator of the state information
system Register of Administrative Procedures, which his owned by the

EU called to influence Ukraine’s authorities in view of Belarus’ recent airspace violation
On 9 August the Belarusian airspace was
violated by Ukrainian drones, which were shot down by the Belarusian air
defense forces. EU Charge d'Affaires Steen Noerlov has been invited to
the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as some of the drone elements
had labels of EU manufacturers.

Belarus’ harvest exceeds 7.1m tonnes of grain, rapeseed
As of 13 August, 7.13 million tonnes of grain (including rapeseed) was
harvested, which includes more than 6 million tonnes of cereals and
leguminous crops (88.7% of the area under these crops, yields at 33.6
centners per hectare) and over 1 million tonnes of winter rapeseed.

Olympics 2024: Belarusian weightlifters welcomed back home
Belarus was represented at the Paris Games by weightlifter Yauheni
Tsikhantsou and Siuzanna Valodzka. Yauheni Tsikhantsou claimed bronze in
the men’s 102kg event, adding the Olympic medalist title to his titles
of the winner of the World Weightlifting Championships and two-time
European champion.

In January-June 2024 Belarus’ foreign trade in merchandise and services increased by 3.2% year-on-year to $47.7 billion.

Almost 140,000 family capital deposits opened in Belarus
As of 1 August, a total of 87,458 families applied for permission to use family capital ahead of schedule. Of them, 71,207 applied to use the money to improve housing conditions, 9,770 to pay for healthcare services, 6,476 to pay for education and five to buy health products for disabled people.

Belarus’ gross agricultural output up by 10.2% in H1 2024
"The results were due to the earlier start of grain harvesting due to good weather. Accordingly, crop production rose the most, by 44.1%. For example Grodno Oblast posted a 81.2% increase, Minsk Oblast - 50.3%," the Agriculture and Food Ministry said.
