Nearly 9.3m tonnes of grain, rapeseed cropped in Belarus
About 1.4 million tonnes of maize for grain were threshed in the
country, with the average yield of 79 centners per hectare. A total of
176,600 hectares of sown areas was harvested, or 59.2% of the harvested
area. Over 17.5 million tonnes of maize for silage and green fodder was cropped, which is 736,500 hectares of sown areas (or 77.3%).
