Belarusians mark Epiphany with plunge into freezing water

Orthodox believers celebrate the Epiphany on 19 January. The holiday begins on the evening of 18 January when all Orthodox celebrate Epiphany's Eve. Many Belarusians across the country plunge into icy waters to celebrate the feast of the Epiphany.
