MINSK, 3 August (BelTA) – The Wanda Diamond League meeting in Doha will take place on 25 September, BelTA learned from the World Athletics website.
Initially the athletics meeting in Qatar was to take place in April, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was postponed to 9 October. A new date for the meeting was announced today. The competitions will take place on 25 September. The plan is to stage 12 disciplines. A list of athletes who will compete in the Qatari capital will be announced in due course.
The competition season is to kick off in Monaco on 14 August. Six meetings are on the calendar.
