Over 20 Belarus’ athletes to compete at World Cup opener in canoe sprint

MINSK, 4 May (BelTA) - The lineup of the Belarusian team for the opening stage of the 2026 Canoe Sprint World Cup has been announced, the press service of the Belarusian Canoe Association told BelTA.
The first stage will take place in Szeged, Hungary on 8-10 May. The Belarusian team features ten kayakers and eleven canoeists. In men’s kayak, Aleh Yurenia, Uladzislau Kravets, Mikita Borykau, Uladzislau Litvinau, Dzianis Yermolenka and Dzmitry Natynchyk will compete. In women’s kayak, Marharyta Tkacheva, Nadzeya Kushner, Vladzislava Skryhanava and Lizaveta Vilkova.
In canoe race, Ivan Patapenka, Yahor Pashkavets, Stanislau Savelyeu, Dzianis Patapenka, Ilya Verashchaka and Hleb Chabatarou will compete. In women’s canoe, Inna Nedelkina, Yulia Trushkina, Anhelina Bardanouskaya, Alena Nazdrova and Maria Papichych. Competitors will race for 24 sets of medals at the World Cup stage in Hungary.
