MINSK, 24 August (BelTA) - The Athletes' Commission of the Russian Olympic Committee will convene for a meeting at the large sports arena Luzhniki in Moscow on 15 September, BelTA learned from the ROC press service.
At the invitation of Russian colleagues, members of the Athletes' Commission of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus will take part in the meeting and related events. Heads of Russian sports agencies and representatives of Russian sports federations in summer and winter Olympic sports will be also in attendance.
The agenda incldues a wide range of issues: from supporting a high level of competition and motivation in the elite sport in the face of unlawful and illegitimate sanctions to practical opportunities for self-realization of athletes after retirement.
