MINSK, 12 January (BelTA) – Minsk is playing host to the European Women's Basketball League (EWBL) Group B matches, BelTA has learned.
In the first match BC Tsmoki Minsk will play Russia's Nika from Kyktyvkar. Then, Tsmoki will face Kibirkstis-MRU Vilnius, Nika will take on BC Olimpia Grodno, and BC Horizont Belarus will play TTT Riga.
Earlier, BC Horizont Belarus secured two victories over BC Tsmoki Minsk 82-43 and BC Olimpia Grodno 68-54. BC Tsmoki Minsk edged BC Olimpia 88-85.
Minsk is also expected to host BC Rostov v BC Dinamo Novosibirsk match.
Group A will feature Liepaja LSSS Latvia, Prometey Ukraine, Orange Lions Amsterdam, SBS Ostrava Czech Republic, Young Angels Kosice Slovakia, and Piestanske Cajky Slovakia.
