MINSK, 24 June (BelTA) - Belarus' Daniel Mukete lost in the Men's Half-heavyweight -100kg Repechage and Bronze contests at the 2nd European Games in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian beat Michael Korrel of the Netherlands but lost the bout against Croatia's Zlatko Kumric. Daniel Mukete scored an ippon against Toma Nikoforov of Belgium then. In the bronze medal event the Belarusian lost to 2016 Olympic medalist Cyrille Maret of France.
Belarusian judo wrestler Maryna Slutskaya will face Larisa Ceric of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Women's Heavyweight +78kg final on 24 June.
Judo competitions which are underway at Chizhovka Arena include 15 judo medal events.
