MINSK, 9 October (BelTA) – HC Meshkov Brest beat HC SKA 42-25 in the Belarusian Handball Championship, BelTA has learned.
Meshkov Brest completed the first part of the match with a two-goal advantage, 19-17. After the break the Brest team continued their domination to grab their sixth victory in six matches of the ongoing tournament. HC Meshkov Brest has 12 points, HC Gomel – 10, HC Masheka Mogilev – 7 and HC SKA – 6.
On 14 October HC Meshkov Brest will play against Poland's Lomza Vive Kielce in the EHF Champions League group stage. HC Meshkov Brest earlier beat HC Vardar 24-22 and Paris Saint-Germain 32-31. The Brest team lost one game to Porto 25-27. Group A is topped by SG Flensburg-Handewitt with six points. HC Meshkov Brest and Kielce hold four points each.
