Liutarevich, Pieczonka win ATP Challenger doubles in Austria

MINSK, 2 May (BelTA) – Belarusian Ivan Liutarevich and Polish Filip Pieczonka have won the doubles event at the ATP Challenger Tour tournament in Mauthausen, Austria, which has a prize fund of €160,600, BelTA has learned.
In today’s final, the Belarusian-Polish duo defeated Spain’s Alex Martinez / Bruno Pujol-Navarro in a three-set match that lasted an hour and a half (6-3, 3-6, 12-10).
On their way to the final, Ivan Liutarevich and Filip Pieczonka claimed three victories, dropping only one set to their opponents. The 30-year-old Belarusian tennis player now has nine ATP Challenger doubles titles to his name.
