Litvinovich wins first European individual gold

MINSK, 12 April (BelTA) - Ivan Litvinovich of Belarus has added the title of European champion in the individual event to his list of achievements, BelTA has learned.
At the continental forum in Portugal, the two-time Olympic champion won all stages of the individual competition: Ivan posted the best scores in the qualification, semifinal, and final. In his decisive attempt, Litvinovich scored 65.310 points, finishing ahead of Portugal’s Gabriel Albuquerque and Russia’s Kirill Kozlov.
Another Belarusian, Andrei Builou, finished just one step away from the podium. In the women’s individual event, Iana Lebedeva of Belarus won silver, placing between two Russians - Andzela Bladtseva and Sofiia Aliaeva. Belarusian Katsiaryna Yarshova rounded out the top five.
