MINSK, 23 July (BelTA) – U.S. player Ivan Lodnia is joining HC Dinamo Minsk, BelTA learned from the press service of the club.
The forward spent the previous season in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), one of the three main junior hockey leagues that make up the Canadian Hockey League. He played 41 matches with Niagara IceDogs and scored 62 (27+35) points. Ivan Lodnia was Minnesota's third-round pick in 2017.
The player could join the Bisons last year. Taking into account the Belarusian roots of the player, Ivan Lodnia is viewed as a potential candidate to the country's national team.
