Belarusians to play in tennis tournaments in Spain, USA

MINSK, 27 February (BelTA) – Belarusian players are set to play at the upcoming tennis tournaments in Spain and the USA, BelTA has learned.

Belarus’ Ilya Ivashka will open his Challenger Tenerife III run against August Holmgren of Denmark.

Belarus’ Iryna Shymanovich and Maia Lumsden of the UK will face the Russian duo of Irina Khromacheva and Yana Sizikova in the ATX Open round of Last 16 in Austin, the United States. Last week Iryna Shymanovich and Renata Zarazua of Mexico won the Puerta Vallarta Open.

Belarus’ Lidziya Marozava and Belgium’s Kimberley Zimmermann will take on the Italian tandem of Angelica Moratelli and Camilla Rosatello in the San Diego Open round one.
