Belarus’ NOC president: Conquered Olympic heights are a symbol of Belarusian talent
MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) - The General Assembly of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus has reviewed the organization’s performance for 2025 on 24 March, BelTA has learned.
The General Assembly took place two days after the celebration of the NOC’s 35th anniversary. The National Olympic Committee was established on 22 March 1991, and two and a half years later became a member of the International Olympic Committee. Since 1994, Belarusian athletes have competed in nine Winter and eight Summer Olympic Games, winning 109 medals, including 22 gold medals.
At the start of the General Assembly meeting, Vladimir Pertsov, First Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration, read out a message of greetings from Aleksandr Lukashenko.
