Trump: I have a lot of respect for Belarusian leader

MINSK, 28 February (BelTA) – I have a lot of respect for Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, U.S. President Donald Trump said while speaking with journalists on the South Lawn of the White House before departing for a working trip to Texas on 27 February, BelTA has learned.

“We have a good relationship, and the leader is somebody that I have a lot of respect for. With Belarus, we have a very good relationship. And I like this leader a lot,” Donald Trump said in response to a journalist’s question.
