MINSK, 17 November (BelTA) – Any attempts to disrupt the operation of election commissions will receive a tough response, Chairperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus Lidia Yermoshina said in an interview to the Belarus 1 TV channel on 17 November.
Lidia Yermoshina said how the organizers of the elections would respond to attempts to disturb the work of election commissions. “The response will be tough. We will not let anyone do wrong to our precinct election commissions and our voters,” the CEC head stressed.
She added that the organizers would not let anyone “flout at the election commissions”.
