Scouts carry out missions in CSTO exercise Poisk 2025 in Belarus

MINSK, 5 September (BelTA) – Participants of the special exercise for reconnaissance forces and assets Poisk 2025 [Search] have carried out all the tasks and have exfiltrated to a staging area, the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.

According to the source, over the course of 36 hours scout teams reconnoitered a designated area. After detecting the adversary’s facilities they observed them, set up ambushes, called for and corrected air strikes against the simulated enemy.

An area they had to reconnoiter could be as large as 100km2.
