Reenactors from Belarus, Russia to stage battle of 1812 near Borisov

MINSK, 20 November (BelTA) - Representatives of 20 clubs from Belarus and Russia will reenact the battle of 1812 at Borisov on 23 November, BelTA learned from the Department of Ideological Work, Culture and Youth Affairs of the Borisov District Executive Committee.

Events on the occasion of the anniversary of Napoleon's army defeat will begin with a flower ceremony at the Brilevskoye Field memorial to Russian soldiers.

The reenactment of the battle will begin at the site of the Battery fortification at 13.00. It will feature representatives of 20 clubs from Belarus and Russia (Moscow, Novosibirsk, and Bryansk)
