Over 62,000 Europeans have visited Belarus visa-free since 1 January 2026

MINSK, 4 May (BelTA) – Since 1 January 2026, a total of 62,282 people from 38 European countries have visited Belarus under the visa-free program, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.
Since the visa waiver was introduced, 1,320,451 citizens of European countries have visited Belarus. Of these, 685,157 people arrived from Lithuania, 422,665 from Latvia, and 144,667 from Poland. Under the expanded visa-free regime for 35 European states, which has been in effect since 19 July 2024, 67,962 people have entered Belarus.
The Belarusian border agency reminded that visa-free entry for citizens of 38 European countries remains in effect through 31 December 2026, inclusive. Detailed information about visa-free visits to Belarus is available in the special section of the State Border Committee’s website.
