New rules for civil aircraft certification introduced in Belarus
MINSK, 17 August (BelTA) – The Transport and Communications
Ministry’s resolution No.17 of 2 July 2021 has introduced new rules for
the certification of civil aircraft, BelTA learned from the national
legislation registry.
The rules specify the procedure for
certifying specimens of civil aircraft, which are intended to be used
only in general-purpose aviation and are not supposed to be used for
commercial and international flights.
The rules apply to
developers, manufacturers, owners, operators of aircraft specimens as
well as holders of aircraft specimen certificates.
The ministry’s
resolution No.9 of 21 January 2009 on approving rules for the
certification of gliders, hang gliders, paragliders, light and
ultralight aircraft, aerostatic aircraft and amateur-design aircraft is
no longer in force.
The Transport and Communications Ministry’s resolution No.17 of 2 July 2021 came into force as of the official publication date.
