Lithuanian politician describes sanctions against Belarus, Russia 'as shot in the foot'

MINSK, 13 May (BelTA) – By imposing sanctions against Belarus and Russia the West is shooting itself in the foot, former Lithuanian presidential candidate Eduardas Vaitkus told a press conference in BelTA’s press center on 13 May, BelTA has learned.

“By imposing sanctions, they are shooting themselves in the foot,” said Eduardas Vaitkus as he answered a question about who was getting hurt in the situation with the Western sanctions against Belarus and Russia.
