Lithuanian politician: ‘I feel completely safe in Belarus’

MINSK, 13 May (BelTA) – I feel totally safe in Belarus, former Lithuanian presidential candidate Eduardas Vaitkus told a press conference in BelTA’s press center in Minsk on 13 May, BelTA has learned. 

“I feel 100% safe here. Not like in Lithuania. When I take a stroll in the forest and someone approaches from behind, I am wary, as I have been threatened many times in Lithuania before,” Eduardas Vaitkus said.
