Lebedev: Presidential election in Belarus will proceed in calm, smooth manner

MINSK, 22 January (BelTA) - Sergei Lebedev, CIS Secretary General and head of the CIS observation mission to the presidential election in Belarus, expressed confidence that the presidential election in Belarus will be held in a calm and smooth manner, BelTA has learned.

“The efforts that are being made in the country give us reason to be confident that everything will be held in a smooth and calm manner, and no provocations, no intrigues will interfere with the voting process,” Sergei Lebedev said.
