Gomel residents team up to landscape war memorial in Krasny Bereg

Gomel Oblast, 20 April (BelTA) – 20 April is the national cleanup day in Belarus. Residents of Gomel Oblast have teamed up to landscape the memorial complex to the children - victims of the war in the village of Krasny Bereg.

Today Belarusians are volunteering their time to tidy up the historical sites such as monuments, memorial complexes, mass graves and burials of victims of fascism as part of the national cleanup day.

By the way, 35% of the money earned during the national cleanup day will be transferred to the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee for the reconstruction of the memorial complex in the village of Krasny Bereg.
