Gomel launches flower planting initiative

GOMEL, 1 June (BelTA) - Around 700,000 flowers will be planted in nearly every corner of Gomel in the near future. Florists from the Krasnaya Gvozdika enterprise have already placed floral arrangements at bus stops, along main streets and in city squares, BelTA has learned.

Among the new floral designs is a refreshed decoration of the roundabout at Lenin Square and Sovetskaya Street. Woven willows, which locals have nicknamed "palms," adorn the space, creating a cozy and natural harmony in the city center.
