Equatorial Guinea’s minister of national defense on visit to Belarus

MINSK, 22 May (BelTA) – Minister of National Defense of Equatorial Guinea, Divisional General Victoriano Bibang Nsue Okomo is in Belarus on an official visit, BelTA learned from the press service of the Defense Ministry.

Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin welcomed his African counterpart during an official welcoming ceremony.

“The parties continued talks flanked by their delegations in the Central House of Officers. The negotiations focused on prospects for Belarus-Equatorial Guinea military cooperation,” the press service added.

After the negotiations, the defense ministers will pay tribute to those killed during the Great Patriotic War and lay flowers at the Victory Monument on Victory Square in Minsk.
