Educational institutions of Belarus, China sign over 800 cooperation agreements 

MINSK, 14 May (BelTA) - At the moment, educational institutions of Belarus and China have more than 800 direct cooperation agreements signed, which makes it possible for the parties to implement joint scientific and educational projects and organize academic exchanges. The matter was discussed during a meeting between Belarusian Education Minister Andrei Ivanets and China’s Minister of Education Huai Jinpeng, BelTA learned from the press service of the Education Ministry.

The ministers discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, including the implementation of flagship projects and building up exchanges.

According to the Education Ministry, Belarus expressed satisfaction with the intensification of contacts between the countries at the ministerial and inter-university levels. They go in line with the agreements reached at the highest level to fill the cooperation with specific projects. This need was mentioned by the leaders of the two states during the meeting in December 2023.
