CIS drafting document on rights of journalists

MINSK, 19 March (BelTA) – A group of experts working on the draft document on the rights of journalists met in Minsk, BelTA learned from the Department for Political, Humanitarian and Social Cooperation at the CIS Executive Committee.

The event was attended by representatives of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the CIS Executive Committee.

The preparation of the document was initiated by the Russian side. The participants of the meeting decided to continue working on the text of the draft document.
