MINSK, 22 September (BelTA) – A delegation of the Chinese People's Liberation Army led by Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff Department of the Central Military Commission, General Yi Xiaoguang is currently in Belarus on a visit, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
The Chinese delegation will visit a military unit of the Belarusian Armed Forces to get informed about the process of training of military personnel, the press service said.
Yi Xiaoguang met with Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces – First Deputy Defense Minister, Major General Oleg Belokonev on 21 September. The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation.
