Canada removes Belarus from guest list for OSCE conference

MINSK, 15 February (BelTA) – While hosing an OSCE conference of verification centers Canada decided not to take into account the interests of all participating states and removed Belarus from the guest list, Colonel Valery Revenko, Head of the International Military Cooperation Department, Aide for International Military Cooperation to the Belarusian Defense Minister, told the media, BelTA has learned from the Defense Ministry.

Valery Revenko considers the incident as another fact of discrimination, by Canada this time.

“The chosen format of the event not only demonstrates the West's unwillingness to restore dialogue, but also shows its desire to proceed on the path of destroying the established international relations’ system, depreciating the OSCE as an inclusive mechanism for ensuring security,” Valery Revenko summarized.
