BelTA, UzA sign memorandum on information exchange

MINSK, 8 July (BelTA) - The Belarusian news agency BelTA and the Uzbekistan national news agency UzA signed a memorandum on the exchange of information, BelTA reports.

The parties have undertaken to exchange timely and reliable information materials in Russian and English on current events in the domestic and international life of their countries. The agencies shall closely cooperate in organizing and providing information support for visits of heads of state, official delegations, and other interstate events held in Belarus and Uzbekistan.

BelTA and UzA have agreed on the exchange of journalists and photojournalists with a view to learning best practices and honing skills.
