Belarusian tank battalion going through readiness check

MINSK, 17 January (BelTA) – A tank battalion belonging to a mechanized brigade of the Western Operational Command has begun a readiness check, the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.

The readiness check has been organized in accordance with instructions of Chief of the General Staff, First Deputy Defense Minister of Belarus, Major-General Viktor Gulevich.

The readiness of the army unit’s personnel to carry out missions will be checked and the state of their military and special hardware will be inspected.
