Belarusian People's Congress to convene on 24-25 April

"Setting the date of the first meeting of the Belarusian People's Congress, we were guided by the constitution and also by the organizational and technical measures needed to prepare and conduct the Belarusian People's Congress," Igor Karpenko said.

All this requires advance and thorough preparation," Igor Karpenko said. “Therefore, it is no secret that before setting the date, we conducted consultations with all stakeholders. A national organizing committee was set up,. It is headed by the prime minister. Several meetings were held with the head of state. Today, the Central Election Commission formalized the date of the first meeting of the Belarusian People's Congress in accordance with the law."
