Belarusian border guards prepared to resume operations with Lithuania

VORONOVO DISTRICT, 20 November (BelTA) – Belarusian border guards are prepared to resume passage of individuals and vehicles at the Benyakoni and Kamenny Log checkpoints, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

Less than an hour remains until the Lithuanian Šalčininkai and Medininkai border checkpoints resume operations.

The Šalčininkai border checkpoint had been non-operational for three weeks, while the Lithuanian side had only been permitting certain categories of citizens and vehicles through the Medininkai checkpoint.
